History
Multifamily Valuations, LLC officially began in January 2015 but strong working relationships began long before that time. Both David Johnston and August Semple worked together for many years under the supervision of Robert D. Wright, MAI. Bob began his Washington, DC appraisal practice in 1981 and expanded to service the whole mid-Atlantic region when he relocated to Pennsylvania from the DC area in 1984. Augie joined Bob in 1992 and David joined the firm in 1999. Bob organized Multifamily Valuations, LLC with Augie and Dave as co-owners. Bob has turned his attention to development and asset management while Dave and Augie have continued to successfully produce high quality appraisals for multifamily lenders and investors. Underwriters and reviewers consistently express their appreciation for the firm’s thoroughness, technical proficiency and depth of market knowledge.
What We Do
We provide appraisals and other valuation services in NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC and VA for conventional apartment communities, low/moderate income housing, independent senior living and subsidized housing including tax credit and tax exempt bond financed projects. Clients include lenders, financial institutions, commercial banks, conduits, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, mortgage companies, LIHTC developers, state housing agencies (i.e. PHFA, MD DHCD, etc.), development consultants, attorneys, and owners/investors.
